My FICO score provided by AMEX has June 5th as the date. In the last few weeks I was able to get my only baddies removed via PFD. I know Vessy Street AMEX has soft pulled the updated EX file several times since, but no El Paso pulls. I do not want to attempt my first 3x until I get some pre-approvals from them.
I know CITI states they will sit on it for up to 10 days before they share it. Does AMEX employ some similar policy?
I am antsy due to knowing I will have a large balance report at the end of the month. It is a 0% card, but carrying this balance for a little while made the baddie removal possible. I am still well under 30% overall utilization. One account is going to be a bit over 50% which I won't care about after this goes through. No apping until Novemeber.

It varies and it's even more difficult to track when you have multiple cards. I always figured it updated around the same day of the month each month and it was reliable for quite awhile and then everyhting seemed to go haywire with them updating things last year sometime. Just check until you see the score go up and bookmark the page instead of multiple clicks to get to it.

The FICO score provided by Amex (Account Services > Personal Details > View FICO Score) is updated on the day after the Statement Close date for your account.
Lenders, with the possible exception of U.S. Bank and Elan Financial Services (a subsidiary of U.S. Bank), report your account status and account balance to the major credit reporting agencies at midnight of your Statement Close date. Once that reporting occurs, Amex updates your FICO score and it is displayed with the date of the day after the Statement Close date. So if you have multiple Amex cards you should be able to see the score refreshed as each card statement closes monthly (the next closing date is usually displayed in the Recent Transactions header of your account(s)) .

An American Express customer service representative told me that American Express receives the credit report information from Equifax/whatver once a month, and American Express posts the FICO score after that.
Edit: I guess it's Experian. The customer service representative said that the date can vary a little because American Express doesn't control the date that Experian makes the score available to them.
Mine updates twice each month. Ususally just after the middle of the month and very near the end.

I have three Amex cards - two charge and one revolver. Mine shows an update date of the 18th or 19th each month, and is actually available 2 or 3 days later.
Statements close 14-16th on the platinum and daily, on the 11th or 12th for the Gold.

Did Amex bury this link again? Good thing you posted it. I couldn't find it this morning.
