How can I get more information about the original creditor or how did this get into my CR?Does it list who the OC is? Is there an OC listed on your report that you can match up to these? Can you match the amounts or come close to an amount that you owed a OC?2) I have not made any payments since June 2005, accounts were closed in 2003. But the late payment dates and Key Derogatory are showing later dates. This will affect when will these accounts disappear from my CR. What can I do to find out what are the actual DOLA, DOFD and/or date to be deleted? Also is it possible to correct the DOLA or DOFD, if they are incorrect? Those late payment daets and KD will not affect the fall off date. It is best to get DOFD (this is what CRTP is based on) from the OC. If it doesn't show DOFD or when the account will be deleted, you can call the CRA and ask them. You can also call the OC and ask for your DOFD. If DOFD is incorrect, read the re-aging thread under "Freq Requested Threads" thread up at the top of the forum.3) Some accounts are Charge Off. When will these account be dropped from my CR. Where can I find the Charge Off Dates, if it is important?7-7.5 years from DOFD. To my knowledge, charge off dates are not important in regards to CRTP.4) When there are lot of selling and buying going on, how can the CR know what is the actual DOLA or DOFD? If they keep buying and selling, will it stay forever in my CR?When a OC or CA reports, they must report to the CRA the DOFD. This is required by law. It will not remain forever, 7-7.5 years from DOFD. It is important to get DOFD from OC if possible so that you know if they have re-aged the account by reporting a newer DOFD, which allows the account to remain longer.
