Hi all,
I am trying to help my fiance PFD her only negative on her CR. The situation is that she got each govt-mandated one for free earlier this year but she didn't print or save them. From what I remember though the account I am looking at was listed by 2 different companies depending on the report (one had just the OC the other a CA).
I want to get access to a CMS that will give me all 3 reports, but am looking for one that provides me with the greatest amount of pulls/ updates and is the cheapest and easiest to cancel.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Doesnt she have account records with the OC? A collection notice from the CA that identifes the OC?
If she received her free CR from annualcreditreport.com.and did not print it,. then...
Find, at the least, the name of the OC, call them (NOT the CA) and ask them to tell you the dates of delinquecies on the OC account.
Try that before purchasing another CR. You need the date of first delinquency (DOFD) on the OC account. GO TO THE SOURCE.
If both tne OC and a CA was reported to her CR, then a PFD offer requries you to know who to address it to.
When she calls the OC, she should also ask them if they still own the debt. or sold it to a CA.
One report she pulled before listed a collection agency; she sent a DV letter to them a few months ago with no response.
The only report I can access now for her, Experian (through Quizzle), does not list a CA at all, but the debt as Verizon's (OC).
Since there are inconsistencies, and I dont have any of the reports from before, I don't know:
I at least need access to EQ or TU to even find if the TL for the CA exists, since it is not listed on EX. Want to gain access to the reports as cost-effective as possible.
