Which day/days of the week are stimulus checks received?

According to the information on the IRS site, we're  supposed to get our stimulus check  Friday, June 13th.  Are the checks mailed on that date or received on that date?

Unless they have changed, they are mailing/direct depositing checks on Fridays.

All of my tax refunds I have recieved in the past were direct deposits and most of the time they were scheduled for friday then it would be deposited after 12:01 a.m. saturday morning. However the IRS informed me this time my check would be mailed on the 13 but I should expect the check about 5 days later. Hopefully this is if some help to you.

Mailing on Friday the 13th lol.....hopefully I will receive it by Monday, June 16th.

Hi credit08!

When we received tax refunds in the past, we had the check  direct deposited as well.  This year we owed and mailed in the tax. 

Thanks for the information.  You are scheduled for the same date as we are.  Maybe we both will receive the check on Monday, June 16th.

Depends on where you live, ours came on Saturday, dated for Friday.

I got my stimulus check about a month ago and did just what President Bush did not want to see. Put it right into a Money Market Account drawing interest on the feds dime. Ohh well nice try to boost the ecconomy. I figured I would wait until it is raining before I spend mine.

Well spending too much has gotten a lot of us into this mess, including the US Government!  Now is not the time to be out spending these checks and not eliminating some debt or adding to one's savings in such unstable times. 

Rainy day fund, emergency fund is a great idea.  We are putting 1/2 towards our 13th mortgage payment, adding some to savings and credit card debt.  We will take a tiny amount and go to dinner or rent some videos!
