I'm just getting started and wanted to use the best product to track the changes in my credit score. Is there one that's daily?
Thanks!

They are all pretty great but I would say go with the 3B ultimate option you get all updates from all three bureaus. I cant say they report everyday, I mean it seems like everyday but basically you get an update whenever theres a change like instantly you get the update. I dont think theres a such thing as a company that reports daily. My fico is ACCURATE and like I stated whenever theres a change you get the update immediately. For those of us rebuilding the update is like everyday to be honest. It doesnt get better than my fico 3B ultimate.

myFICO does not have anything that updates on a daily basis. Its trigger based, meaning there has to be certain changes in your reports to trigger a score update. I would recommend Credit Check Total for daily monitoring. It pulls a fresh Experian report and FICO 8 score each day you log in, and you can do a three bureau pull (with FICO 8 scores) once every 30 days.
Thanks! I meant when there was a change (meaning it tells you then rather than having to wait until it updates once a month)
Thanks again!!
They're all horribly overpriced. If you dont' need the actual score you can get credit information wihtout selling your soul.

I would tend to agree BUT - you won't find TRUE FICO scores anywhere for free - except for lenders that provide it with an account - Barclays, Walmart, Discover, Etc.... But those scores only update once a month (if that), and don't send alerts, or let you see your reports.
HOWEVER, you can get a pretty good deal on CCT when you cancel the trial. They will offer it at half price - $14.95 a month. Thats a great deal for daily EX report, monthly TU and EQ reports, and true FICO 8 scores.
myFICO does not update on fixed intervals. It is a trigger based service. Be aware that not all actvitiy with a scoring impact is a trigger.
If you want regular updates then myFICO is the wrong tool for the job. I'm not aware of any service that offers daily updates and FICO 8's for all 3 CRA's. CCT is a popular option but only offers daily update for Experian. The other two are much less frequent.
Why do you think you need daily updates?

Again, not all activity with a scoring impact is a trigger for myFICO.

Keep in mind that you don't have just one score. There are many models used by creditors/products. Don't just obsess over the numbers. Focus on your report data. Any score is generated based on the data in a report. Good reports will lead to good scores. Fixating on one model can lead to disappontement when you apply to a creditor/product that uses a scoring model different from the one you've been using to monitor.
FICO 8 is the most commonly used model but, again, not all creditors/products use it. Always consider the specific model and CRA when referencing any score and don't assume that all models are equivalent.
As for "best", you need to clairfy exactly what you mean as it is a highly subjective word regardless of topic. What are you specifically looking for? What's your budget? What's best for one isn't necessarily best for the next. We don't all use exactly the same solution or solutions. Don't overlook existing discussions on monitoring services as a resource as well. They are a fairly common topic.

Do not rely on oversimplifications like accurate. Any score is accurate but only for its own model. It is the relevance of a given scoring model & CRA to a given creditor/product that matters as only that model and CRA will be used in the credit decision. myFICO's monitoring only provides regular updates with FICO 8's. Other models are only provided on a quarterly basis. Additionally, there are creditors that use VantageScores or even their own internal scores.
Again, myFICO is a trigger based service. It will not update immediately if a change is not a trigger.
The FICO 8's from myFICO are not any more accurate than FICO 8's from other sources. A FICO 8 is a FICO 8.

Overpriced is subjective as well. Budgets vary. It's up to each to determine what one is willing or not willing to pay.
