Which one is when the SOL starting date?

Ok I am confused....I was looking over my boyfriends reports with him and he and i both were confused by all these dates.. Its a medical collection for 35.00 and we live in florida so can someone tell me which one is the SOL staring date. He is trying to get somethings cleared up too.

Date reported    November 01,2006

Date last active  April           01, 2003

IF  this is reported right  the DOLA would be  April/2003   now medical can go either by 4 or 5 years SOL.  I would sit tight till May 2008   Then if reported by a CA   send them a DV  CMRRR

So we go by the date last active then ? He has another one for 33.00 dollars differant dates though. I know these are tiny amounts but he claims he never got any of these bills because if he had, he would have paid the S.O.Bs.

medical bills go by the date of service......DOLA     it doesn't matter if he received a bill or not!!

Im guessing that these are reported by a CA........The one from 2003  im not sure if SOL has past   but it will be past May 1 2008........the other  will be the same.  the last day of the month & year.

All CAs must be licensed in Fl.   are they?

Also I know that you said that you live in Fl   BUT  are the bills from Fl.?

I'm not sure happydays. Hey I know the next step is to DV the CA but they are not identifying themselves on the collection account just a bunch of random numbers and letters also the OC is stated as "not identified/assigned" soooo how would we go about  DVing this???? Thanks for your help so far

Yes they are from florida and we live in FL

Send to the CRA:

Dear Sir/Madam:

My name is ________ , my SS # is __________ (see attached copies of driver’s license and social security card for verification).

I am sending this dispute certified mail # xxxx to make sure you receive it; this is in regard to account # xxxxx on my report # xxxxx.

Please advise me as to the name and address of the medical provider, the date and type of service, and to whom the service was provided.  If you can obtain this information, I also would need the name of the person providing this data, and the manner in which it was provided in order that I may pursue additional legal remedies.

disput with all CRAs that are reporting.......they will have to give you the name & address of the CA.  OR if you want to be sure that SOL is past wait until May

Did you get this from your fico reports?? Fico will list numbers like that. You can pull hard copies of your reports from the bureaus to get the information to be sure to know when to DV, if you are afraid of alerting them ahead of time.

Yeah we pulled them from the myfico site and all we could see was a bunch of numbers in the CA part and OC was "not stated/assigned" or something like that. Ok well I think we will sit tight and wait till june to re pull CR and see if it falls off. If not then we will send letters to the CRA's to get the info we need to DV them. Hey does my boyfriend sign the letter going to the CRA's or should he type it?
