More than likely, if you are in a CSC state, you will have to dispute with them, regardless of what you would like to do.  EQ will forward all your requests to CSC.  I'd just call CSC at the numbers I listed a few days ago and check with them.  But when you do, PLEASE tell them their online system isn't working.  Maybe if they hear it enough, they'll fix it.

Yep.. EQ will not help you. All disputes must be done with CSC directly.

OMG, what a terrible website....Its like some High School class project gone seriously wrong....tried to register what a joke, and these guys are REPORTING ME!
 
quick question...after reviewing my report that CSC mailed me there are 44 (OUCH) credit PULLs in two years, many of them double or triple pulls.  also, they seem NOT to distinguish between HARD PULLS and SOFT PULLs. ....they are all reported on the same page (my Fico 13 pulls) anyone with experience in this area?  I want to dispute this soon by phone and would like some advice.....thanks folks...
 
BTW    TRANSUNION  5 hard pulls  11 soft pulls......EX 4 hard pulls 10 soft pulls

The dispute will ultimately be sent to CSC, but it is a lot easier to do it though Equifax than to deal with the CSC website. I just put my old zip code (from a state that does not use CSC). Of course, CSC had ignored the dispute so far and it has been over 30 days. What a sloppy company!

Interesting. I never thought about doing that. And yes, CSC is awful.

I also am having trouble with this CSC credit services.  We live in the state of IA so we have to use CSC - We can't do any disputes with EQ - We have to use CSC.  Anyways we filed disputes 4 weeks ago with all 3 credit bureaus - TU, EXP & EQ (CSC).  I've gotten results back already from TU and EXP.  We have not heard a word from this CSC and when I try to go to their site to check the status of the dispute it tells me that our username and our email is not registered with their website.  Even though I am going to their website by clicking on their link in an email that they sent me to my email address which also gives me my username for their website but then the website tells me that neither my username or email address is registered with their website.  So I can't get any info. about my dispute that I filed with them online.  They only have 2 more days and then the 30 days is up and then they better delete or I'm going be really fuming.

I FINALLY saw some results from my CSC dispute.  It has been barely under 30 days sent my dispute was sent.  The TL on my auto loan is now reporting as "Unknown - credit extention or collection" and they have completely deleted my monthly payment amount from my report.  There is also, effective today, a comment stating "customer is disputing".  But now, it looks like I have a large loan out there with a $0 monthly payment.  That would be fantasic but isn't the case.  Also, every payment is listed as "unknown" instead of "okay" or "paid", etc, just as they were before the dispute.  I just wish it would be resolved.  I am convinced that this is why there has been such a huge difference between my EQ score and the other two (at least 60 points).  It's driving me nuts that it's taking them so long.  The other two CRA's resolved the disputes within days after they got my letters.  Grrrrr.

Called CSC today, was able to get a hold of  a "customer service" rep, who I don't think ubderstood what she was supposed to do.  i walked her through my report, and explained my desputes, im not sure if she got it all but i am hoping for the best.
 
I told the "operator" who fisrt answered my call asked me if "i tried to dispute ONLINE" I laughed, and said their online site is a joke and they should try to get it fixed or have a professional take a look at it. 
 
I too am sure this is why my Exfax credit score is so low compared to the others.  Is there something that can be done with these  jokers? How does this happen in this day and age, with such important kind of information!

It ain't gonna change a thing, at least not yet, but file a complaint with the FTC, BBB, TX state AG (yours), GA state AG (Equifax) and CA state AG (CSC). Include in your complaint how perplexed you are, given your experience, that CSC could be in compliance with the provisions of the FCRA that require CRAs to provide trained personnel to explain information to consumers.
 
Also, send a letter and Email to U.S. Senator Carl Levin. He recently held hearings on CCC practices, and while this ain't an exact match I think he would be inclined to sponsor and/or support legislation to make the CRAs behave in a more consumer friendly manner.
