Why? Scores pulled too soon?

I just pulled my credit scores.  I started this whole process at the end of Sept but during that time I was able to get off a couple of things.  One thing in particular I was able to remove was an account that was as recent as nov of '06 that included several 60 and 90 day lates. Just this morning another really bad account (several 90 and 60 days late )was updated to show never late an The highest jump in my score was 20 pts and one even went down 15.  Why is this?  Did I pull my scores too soon?

Re: Why? Scores pulled too soon?

I think there is a delay -

Most likely an account is marked for delete and is not displayed and takes a day or 3 to actually be removed.

You also need to take into account if the deleted accts changed your avg age.
