Why Would Hertz Rental Car INQ My CR

I was denied a rental car last year due to my credit.........(a few of them won't even rent to you if you don't have a major credit card with X amount of dollars in available credit) the only company that would rent to me was Advantage.....and that was with a $300 Deposit
