Why are my Transunion and EQ score so different! PLEASE HELP......

My Transunion FICO score is 550 and my Equifax FICO score is 655. What could be the great difference in both? I have tried to pay of my credit cards and be on time on my payments and I can't seem to raise my score. Please help!!!

Welcome to the forums ! It sounds like there is some derogatory information on your TU report that is missing from your EQ report. You'll need to closely examine both reports to identify any discrepancies.

My TU and EQ reports are the same way. I have a paid collection on TU with a score of 695, and my EQ score is 764 with one very old late.

I have the same problem, but the other way around.  My TU is 709 while my EQ is 622!  And a close look at both reports reveals nothing that would create such a huge disparity.  The only differences I can see are: a difference in the number of inquiries 5 for TU and 8 for EQ, and one closed account that shows on TU but not EQ.  These minor differences shouldn't result in an 87 point spread - right?  If anyone can shed some light on the reason for this, I would really appreciate it.
