Why is BoA doing a hardpull????

Okay.

I haven't tried to open anything with them.

I did visit their prequal. site and it said it was NOT a pull. It didn't show anything for me so I left it. 

Currently have accounts with Capital one, WF (checking/savings), Commenity (store cards)

I did apply at my local credit union. I dont qualify for the good ones you speak of around here because I dont know anyone in my family who has been in the milt. and I have not.

Is this normal???

I don't know why they HPed and you should dispute if it's a result of using their prequal site, I just want to point out that situations like this can be avoided if your profiles are locked or frozen, they're now free for freeze or almost free for locks, really no excuse leaving them wide open for the amount of exposures most of us have and especially after EQ data breach where your info is probably out there permanently. Just a suggestion.
