Why the Diffrence?

Why is there a difference in my credit report pulld from MyFico and the report I pulled from Experian? On my report through MyFico its showing 3 late payments on 3 different accounts, all 90 days.

When I went to Experian site to dispute these lates (they were NEVER late) the same 3 accounts are showing as "never late."

What's the deal??

Re: Why the Diffrence?

Theres three diff credit bureaus.  Experian, Equifax and Transunion.  From what I have read myfico pulls from Equifax.   Which is why when you dispute something you should always dispute all three bureaus.  Not sure if that helps

Re: Why the Diffrence?

I'm assuming that when you went to myFiCO, you pulled EXP report from them, and THEN you went directly to Experian and pulled your CR from them?

Were they on the same day. Like really close together?

If so, it's like the mystery of the universe to me. I'm amazed with the inconsistencies, but learning that I can only accept their reality as it stands.

Re: Why the Diffrence?

Sylvia,

Yes I pulled them both today. Within minutes of each other. Went to MyFico first to see scores casue I got an alert from TC about an account being updated. Saw the lates from the report from MyFico. Went to dispute w/Experian to dispute (they only do online) and the accounts were listed as "Never Late"

Re: Why the Diffrence?

Well dont feel like the lone ranger.  I did this just last Sunday Oct 14th.  Same deal, pulled my CR from Experian(Credit Expert,Fako 651), then I paid MyFico to pull my score(real 601) and CR.  I start comparing accounts and bam!  EQ says cap 1 90 days late, MyFico says 90 days late, 1 ok, and then collections.  The ones on MyFico are two months after my bankruptcy.  I sent an email to the one starting with a M and they answered skating all around the question, they are getting another email.

Go figure!!
