Will AMEX join the free score game?

The trend is to give consumers a free FICO every month (mostly TU). Will AMEX join the line up soon?

Myfico scores.....
EX... 805 (11-10-13)
EQ... 810 (12-02-13)
TU... 810 (12-02-13)

That would be interesting considering they have such a strong attachment to EX- it would be nice.

Yes! I send you to Amex with my proxy!

Depending on how they respond, i'll join in making requests directly to Amex.

Re: Will AMEX join the free score game?

I truly hope they jump on the free scores for consumers bandwagon as long as its not another TU score 4 is enough for me Smiley Sad

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Will AMEX join the free score game?

Honestly, I prefer the other benefits they offer.  Things like the sync deals that put money in your pocket are great.  I don't care about my credit score any more.  I monitor the information on my report and know that the score is pretty much going to take care of itself as long as I keep paying my bills on time and keep my utilization under control.  When I was rebuilding, it was more important to get the frequent updates, but not so mucn anymore.

If they could do it without sacrificing any other benefit, then sure, I'll take it.  But I wouldn't want it at the expense of something else.

Starting Score: ~500 (12/01/2008)
Current Score: EQ 681 (04/05/13); TU 98 728 (01/06/12), TU 08? 760 (provided by Barclay 1/2/14), TU 04 728 (lender pull 01/12/12); EX 742 (lender pull 01/12/12)
Goal Score: 720
