Wrong Names and Addresses

I just checked my truecredit report and Transunion has my name wrong as my current name and also has my address wrong...It is a conglomerate of 3 different addresses made into one.

Should I correct these mistakes? All 3 CRs have different spellings of my name,different addresses and different places of employment.

Should I send them letters asking them to update my reports with the correct information or just ignore it?

Yeah have them correct it.

Send them a letter, include proof of ID.

I have had luck getting personal information fixed on the telephone, if you have the time to wait on hold.

Write out each wrong item and in big bold letters next to it write "DELETE PLEASE, INVALID"

Then write out your correct name and address and write next to it "Correct Name and Address"

Include copies of DL, SS card, and copy of recent utility bill.

Yes- update

On reports directly from EXP- they show what addresses match up to TL's.

Having invalid names and address is also a sign of ID theft.
