Direct TV did the same thing and said it would be a softy when in reality was showing as a hard on my EQ report. I did an online dispute as not mine and it only took a few days before it was deleted.

Re: Wrongful hard pull

What now? This inq was on EQ. When I went to the EQ site they directed me to this site who then showed this:

Please include a copy of your valid driver's license or ID and a copy of your social security card. All information should be mailed to:

If your disputes do not require supporting documentation proceed to next steps.

Please complete the required fields marked .

Check all that applies.

I want to dispute:

Re: Wrongful hard pull

Equifax contracts out in about 13 states.  CSC based in Texas, are AWFUL to deal with especially ONLINE.  Their website, is like some high school class project, gone wrong...i would just dispute by calling them or CMRR.

I was schocked,  when EVERYTHING i disputed was removed/deleted from my CR.  it took several months (they take a long time to investageate) but they eventually removed it all.

BTW, they opened an office right near my house in Ft Worth, Texas.  i could practically throw a rock and hit their building it is so close, (not that I would)...Smiley Wink.

thank goodness for them that they fixed my credit before they opened, or else they would have had one crazy Italian knocking on their front door.Smiley Very Happy
