advice from the experts!!! help please

Here's my situation, if there is any help please, I'm becoming desperate. I have 3 collection accounts remaining on my credit, I would like direction on wether to DV, MOV, PFD or GW. I'm also not clear of what goes to whom (The CA, CRA, or the OC).

1. H&F Law old bank account that had a automatic debit come out after i closed it. It was only for $134 which i paid in 3/07. It started reporting in 12/02.

2. Omnium Worldwide/Bellsouth for $153. I paid this one also in 3/07 it started reporting 10/06. Got this phone for Grandmother and she forgot to pay last bill and forgot to tell me.

3. Absoulute collection agency/Mid atlantic emergency for $390. This is unpaid medical bill that i recently found out was not included in the billing for the hospital. From what I was told this was for X-rays and it is outsourced. Thing is I had financial aide from the hospital and it paid 100% of my bill. Had i been told of the outsourcing I would have made arrangements for this portion also.

These are the only negative things on my credit. I have no cc debt, no installments, no mortgages, nothing. I just need a little guidance.

H&F Law is reporting, so that's who you GW. Omnium Worldwide/Bellsouth--is that the same thing or are those two different entities? If they are the same--GW.

Before DVing the CA for the medical bill, find out what the SOL is and what the DOFD is.

OK, the SOL seems to be 3 years. the DOFD i'm not sure about. on my report it says "date assigned Jan 10 2005" date reported May 06,2006. Please explain why this information is necessary before i DV.

SOL is important b/c you don't want them to sue. If they do and you are beyond SOL, they cannot win. DOFD/DOLA is important b/c it will let you know when the baddie will fall off. Those dates that you mentioned are not DOFD or DOLA.

Re: advice from the experts!!! help please

Hi kiyahsmom. Sorry about the late response. I had to take my fiancee out for her birthday last night...busy work day today. TMI.

Anyway, seeing as how you are now past SOL (be 100% on the three years), I would DV them. Use the Lonnster letter (search lonnster), as it is pretty strong.

Hope this helps.
