another repost if anyone can help

Before I found this forum I had a cc account that went into collections. I tried calling the oc who referred me to the ca. I paid the ca and they removed the info from my credit report.  The problem is, the oc account still shows up and it looks like I made no effort to pay at all.  Any advice, I think it is to fall off in 2012

They have to reflect proper information. They don't have to expunge it, but they have to update the account to reflect a $0 balance, which will probably hurt your scores once updated.
