with my cap 1 card they have credit tracker, anyone know how accurate this score is?
Accurate but they use Vantage 3.0 which from my knowledge is essentially a worthless score. My Creditwise from Cap1 score is a good 25 points below my FICO8 score
thank you Apple
My Capital One score is 25 points higher than my "My Fico" score.
it's a solid 50+ lower.
It's only worthless if it's not used to underwrite a given loan application for you. The same could be said for the dizzying array of FICO products.
Some percentage of lenders (reportedly around 10%) are using VS as part of their decisioning process; that said out of all the applications I've made that I actually got a score for, only one used Vantage (Chase Freedom) so YMMV.

I agree with all the above. My Cap1 tracker is all over the place in just one month. At the beginning of the month it was about 20+ above fico scores. My utilization dropped more at the end of my statements all last week and the fico scores went up a few days ago as they should have, but the latest Cap1 update today dropped my scores below the fico ones now.

I don't have a Cap One card or tracker. However, they switched scoring model from TU New Accounts 3.0 (range 150 to 950) to TU VantageScore 3.0 (range 300 to 850) sometime during the last 30 days. Perhaps that could account for some unexplained score fluctuations/score shift.
. 1) Top end score reduced by 100 points with model switch
. 2) bottom end score increased by 150 points with model switch.
