Re: collections

Hi, charilynn, welcome to the forums!

I'm moving your post to General Credit Issues. Please look up at the top of this board where several threads are stickied. First click and read "Credit Scoring 101", and then open "Frequently Requested Threads." There are two threads about GW's, one near the top, and one near the very bottom.

In general, you would GW whomever is reporting the baddie to the credit bureaus.

Welcome to the forum!

Send to whomever is reporting on your CR. So if the CA is reporting send it to them. Now, some have had success sending GWs to OC, esp. in the case of a medical collection.

Try searching around via the search box for the name of the creditor reporting and you can see if others had any luck.

Oops, didn't see that. You just got a 2nd opinion.
