confused about response from EQ

I received my response back from EQ about a couple things I disputed.  Several were verified (which I still have no idea who they are so will be doing DV), but one came back deleted.  The confusing thing is when I checked my EQ report a couple days after that the account is still listed.  So if they deleted it why would it be listed?  Can I get them to remove if they said they deleted it?

Did you pull the same report (which does not update) or did you get a new one?

I would give it more time.  If they said they it would be delelted it will be.

No it was a new report & previously anything that was deleted was always updated immediately on the EQ report when I pulled it.

Yes directly from EQ.  I learned my lesson about pulling from other places because even when I pull to get my FICO score I found it wasn't updated with what was changed/removed from EQ.

Normally I would suggest that all communications with a CRA be in writing.  But, since you have a recent letter stating the TL would be deleted, if it were me, I would just call them and ask.  Even CRA'a are staffed by humans (some would argue that this isn't true), and it may be an oversight.  Here is the link to the CRA phone numbers.

Thanks that is what I was thinking too.  Since the report says clearly the item is deleted then they need to delete it.  I will give them a call.

Look at the date that EQ stated that it was deleted. Then look at the date that is on your new CR (date reported) If the date reported is after the date that it was deleted THEN it was re-inserted and you are in a different position.

You would then mail a re-insertion letter to EQ.
