cra reporting

I have a Dell account that was opened last feb. 2007. They started reporting to all cra for about 3
months. Then they stopped and only report to Ex to date Dec.2007. How will the not reporting
to the other two affect their scores?

Re: cra reporting

Is it showing up at all on the other two right now?
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Re: cra reporting

Yes it shows up as current but has not been updated since oct.
I say since oct before that I got the little white boxes showing as not reported.

Re: cra reporting

Also, you sometimes won't get the green squares on TC even when an account is reporting. Click Printer friendly version up at the top right, or click "more about this account" on the Dell listing. What date does it show for "Reported"? It ought to show a December date, or maybe a November date, depending on how frequently it updates.

Re: cra reporting

Interesting! Two possibilities come to my mind:
-Dell has started reporting quarterly to EQ and TU, but they still report monthly to EX
-Dell has completely stopped reporting to EQ and TU.

Do you have any saved reports from September or August? Did all three CRA's update in those months?

And then there is what HappyDays posted --they now report as CIT BANK/DFS, which I'm guessing is Citibank/ Dell Financial Services. I'd keep looking up and down your list and see if there is a separate entry for one of those names.

I have one account with two spellings of its name, and it shows all by itself on one entry under EX, and on another entry under EQ and TU. Same data, just slightly different captions.

Re: cra reporting

The account has always been reported as CIT BANK/DFS and the last time reported
to all three ca was 10/31/07 for the month of Sept.. Do some ccc report Quarterly? Seems like to me
once they start reporting one way they should continue. I bet if I had a late it would
pop up quick. Thanks

Re: cra reporting

Sounds like a phone call to Dell is in order! I'd probably wait until a weekday. Smiley Wink
