I concur with Stomper. I recently had my CLI raised $2000 on a Visa I've had with my credit union for over 6 years now. I took this angle "I'm a loyal customer, I've only been late once in 7 years, I know my overall credit isn't the greatest but based on my payment history and income I really need this to get done without you doing a hard pull." IT WORKED! Now I'm anxious to see if this increases my scores.
