creditkeeper (?)

I signed up for creditkeeper about 3 weeks ago. I only did it for the free month of monitering. I wanted to see what kind of job creditkeeper would do. I got 3 scores along with my 3 reports (I realize I got 3 fako scores). My question is can I pull multiple reports with CK or just my one time and then it just monitors the one report (can't remember now who they monitor)?

Re: creditkeeper (?)

Hey Diz, I had them briefly (for less than a month) over a year ago, and I believe they monitor EX. As I recall, I didn't think that it was worth the $ for what I was getting. At the time, I opted for both TC and CCT, as I could refresh daily.

Re: creditkeeper (?)

Thanks ByrdMan,

If you could only choose one-- TC or CCT which one would you go with? I do like CK's simulator though. It seems pretty good.

Re: creditkeeper (?)

I used to favor TC, when you could pull all three daily, but since that option is no longer available, I think the product is a waste of money. I currently have CCT, reluctantly since it's an EX product. Smiley Mad

Re: creditkeeper (?)

I Have CK now . Got it after I couldnt get EX no more from here My scores are about 5 to 10 points off from my actual fico scores but the simulator has been pretty constant in my repair journey. I will probably get rid of it next month tho since there is nothing to fix on my reports now But overall Its been pretty good to me. I can monitor with scorewatch and check EX Every 6 months just to make sure nothing has changed.

Re: creditkeeper (?)

I'd check more than every six months, if I were you. I recently noticed an unauthorized CA show up on my reports. It has taken me a month to rid myself of it. It came at the most inopportune moment possible.

I have had creditkeeper for about 2 months now.  I know the credit scores are fako's but I wanted to monitor all 3 of my reports while I was trying to get some credit.  I found that their monitoring  was quick.  I was notified when I got both new accts and when other things changed.  For now, I will keep it.  When my reports are where I want them, I may drop it, not sure yet.  For the money, it serves my purpose.  In addition, I pull my FICO scores every now and then.

Re: creditkeeper (?)

I don't recall. Is CK a daily monitoring service? Can you pull all three reports daily? How much is it after the initial free month?

Re: creditkeeper (?)

I hate having to use EX products, but that's a good price, and able to pull all three daily, is a definite bonus.
