Thanks for your reply...but PLEASE go back & re-read what I posted! I have a copy of my CR in front of me...
@cdtotten I KNOW its a nice thing! and Im ready to move on, but thats NOT what Im asking....
@RobertEG I DO NOT need to know the rules/law...I know the what they are!
the bottom line is that I have my last bad mark of the OC that should be remove in Feb '10. The CR are saying it will be move Nov '09, three months before the schedule date. the QUESTION was: "Does anyone have any experience with Equifax deleting negative reporting of their CR three months before it is schedule to come off?"

I risk being chastised by the mods for what I'm about to say but I will attempt to comment in the nicest way possible................with an attitude like yours constructive help will most likely not be forthcoming in the future. I hope you think about that on any further posts. The overwhelming majority of people on this forum are here for one reason. To be helped in matters of finance and to try and help others. Your snapping turtle remarks add nothing to the process.

[Removed] I thank those guys for responding to my post. The fact is they answered a question I didn't ASK for! I will give you an example. If I ask you what the temperature is outside & you give me the score to the Monday Night Football game, that's not doing me any good is it? You are right about, "The overwhelming majority of people on this forum are here for one reason. To be helped in matters of finance and to try and help others. ". [Removed]
@cdtotten @RobertEG if you guys feel disconcert about my reply, Im sorry. My attempt was to hurt anyone's feelings.
Now PLEASE, let's move...
QUESTION: "Does anyone have any experience with Equifax ( as does TU & Experian) deleting negative reporting of their CR three months before it is schedule to come off?"

Hi onthemove,
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you (and anyone else reading) that all of the forum contributers here very graciously volunteer their time and efforts at helping people to understand the nuances of credit/scoring/reporting, etc... Oft times, paying forward the kindness that they've recieved, over the weeks, months and years. It's very important that we all remember to be friendly, supportive and respectful in our communications here, so that our very kind and generous contributors (whether they're seeking help, or offering their assistance) keep doing so, keeping our little community here strong.
If you think that your question was misunderstood, you might try rephrasing to make it more clear. Honestly, when I read it, the responses that you received seemed relevant. Offering to clarify or providing more information will get you much further than attempting to chastise the responders because you feel those responses are unhelpful.
And, patience is a virtue-- There may be someone who can provide you with the information that you're seeking. To paraphrase another member, you don't want to turn people off to giving replies.
As the Moderator, its disconcerting that you would call me out & not @marinevietvet. Although, you did add "and anyone else reading" is a bit late! I didn't use profanity or call someone a bad name. I'm not new to this forum. I've reading it well before I became a registered user. I truly understand that people graciously volunteer their time and effort, and I'm most thankful. The fact that, if my tone put off the first two pervious posters, Im sorry…again

No I don't think my question was misunderstood. It is a straight forward question. Its was never answered. If you have experience with the matter, then I would like someone to tell me about. If you don't, then why would you talk about something I never ask for?
As I said before, Im not new to this forum & I seen other postings just like this where people are giving information that is not warrant. When they do this, and the original poster doesn't say anything, others think the question has been answered and you will most likely never get the right question answered. That's why we are here…right?
Most of all, there is no ill-will coming from my end what-so-ever. I hope all well with their aspirations.
take care,
onthemove
