I actually had a similiar situation. It was TU and EQ that had removed a negative TL a few months before the scheduled drop off. Once I received the confirmation in the mail that this had been done,I faxed the info to EX along with a brief statement and they removed it the same day.
Keep your head up

It would be kinda funny of the OP disputed the late once it was removed form the other 2 CRs and then the OC validated the late and it was added back to all 3 CRs and it took 6 months to get them removed. Way too funny.
I have 13 lates divided 7/6 between two acccounts Chase acquired from WaMu. In the transition process TU lost all or all but one of them. (Not clear due to the way their reports work.) I am not fiddling with anything now. I just know if I do nothing will go away, but the 12 or 13 will end up coming back.
There was a post a while back where someone disputed an account that showed up on EQ (I think) but not TU or EX. The account had many derogs so I guess the person thopught since it wasnt on the other 2 CRs, perhaps the OC would not verify the account and EQ would be forced to delete it.
Anyway they disputed the one on EQ and it came back verified and then the OC added it to all 3 CRAs.
In my case even if I could get the CRAs to delete my BofA TL, I know that BofA will just add it back, and perhaps add more junk to it.
