disputing EX

My husband recently pulled his Ex report. Nearly all the info they have is incorrect. They have five different SS# none of them are his, wrond date of birth, addressess he never lived at. We basically want to dispute everything. Should we do online or by mail? Online option does not give you the option to dispute addresses and SS#'s. What do you recommend?

Re: disputing EX

Yipes! That would scare me to death tlg!

If that happened to me, I would be on the telephone to all 3 CRA's and be talking to their fraud/identity theft department...have THEM look at the same report as you are while talking to them, and ask THEM how to proceed.

Granted I am an alarmist, but gosh, please take this seriously.

There are others here much wiser than I in this area, and can give you excellent recommendations when they read what you said.

Good luck to you and your hubby.

Re: disputing EX

you will need to send 3 different ID's to them....copy d/l   SS card  and a third   call & ask.

You can dispute creditors online or do it all by mail or fax.......if mailing do so CMRRR
