Re: do you see an increase?

You will for sure get an increase for getting the revolving down if the 500 was close to the limit.  What's the limit?

If the collection you got deleted was your most recent collection you should definitely see points.  ( I got 15 points when this happened).

But I've had other collections removed that were in the middle of my disaster and I didn't see any movement, sadly.

Good Luck!

No one can predict the outcome of these activities, no one!!!! On the surface it would appear as though you should get a bump up but, there may be other things happening that can pull you down so be patient and wait for the facts to show up.

FICO scores on November 17, 2014 (prior to applying for and being approved my mortgage)

Re: do you see an increase?

In many cases, the actual deletion of a collection itself my not be as significant as that which was not deleted.

Some collections have a long history of reported monthly account delinquencies by the OC, and others also have a prior charge-off reported by the OC.  For such accounts, the collection itself my not even have comprised the most significant overall point drain.  PFD deletion of a collection that leaves behind numerous OC account delinquencies will most likley not provide the same score boost as one in which no other reported OC account delinquencdies remain.

Just too many factors to make specific score predictions..........
