Re: dv follow-up letter

As for the first - they can resume 'collection activities' after they have validated (allowed for in code). Don''t mess with this - stay within code.

As for the second - you are giving the CA 15 days to comply, does not mean you must wait to contact the CRA.  Means that after 15 days you can (if you want to) pursue any and all legal recourse.

Re: dv follow-up letter

Understood.

I knew I wasn't that well versed on the first part - just figured it didn't hurt to ask lol.

As for the second part, that's even better for us.

Thanks Lady!

Just a bump. I hate doing this.........I feel like a pest......I think my last post got buried and overlooked.....but I'd like to know if anyone knows the answer to this.

Ok..........I think I only have 1 more question..............I sent a CA that is NOT reporting on my CR a DV. If they do not respond and don't report, then I just let it go?

Re: dv follow-up letter

Keep all appropriate documents regarding yur DV - but if they are not reporting or trying to collect in any manner --- then no action on your part is necessary.  Don't create aheadach when there isn't one.

Hey Lady_Scarlet I used this letter and when I sent it to the CA they decided to re-investigate as you may have read in my other posts. When I sent copies of everything to the CRA nothing happened they are still on my CR and the CA wont budge what do I do?

Re: dv follow-up letter

Lady,

Do you have a copy of a DV letter that has worked for you?  Would you mind sharing it with me as I have just found a collection on 2 of my reports that showed up last week, and I need to get these off.  They are for MCI through some CA named Park Dansan, have never had MCI, never had a bill or even a collection notice!  No idea but need to do something about it.

Thanks in advance,
