I was actually pretty surprised that they deletes early for me when I requested for early deletion. It just took an bit longer than tu and ex. It took about ten days for them to do anything.
Congrats WTG
Thanks I officially have no more baddies on my cr other than all the HP from last year. I just have to not get tempted to app anything till July 😀. I can app for my fidelity amex and Sallie Mae in July hopefully

It definately its really an nice feeling to have. Now i am going to try and reach next goal of getting my fico score above 800. I think that will take an bit more time.
congrats
happy feelin! good job!
Waht exactly did you ask for to get them deleted early. I have one that is due to drop off in July (as per my yearly free reports). the line is already gone from TU. I want to get guarantee funded for a mortgage and if I could get these off earlier it would allow me to move my timeline up a bit.
So I would be willing to ask for an early deletion if I knew the right wording to use. did you email, phone, or snail mail?
thanks,

thanks,
EQ was quite the pain for me , it didn't let me do an regular dispute thru the website. If i remember correctly they said they couldn't match my info or something to that effect, so i had to go and dispute thru something called an webform. You have to fill out everything, and if i remember at the end there are comments you can add. In the comments section i just stated that its supposed to drop off soon, and asked if they could delete early. Surprisingly they complied :-)

is July 7 years from DOFD? I called EQ recently about an old CO, asking them to remove early...they said no, but a couple days later it was deleted. I've had a couple CO's removed 3 or 4 months early. I don't know if my phone call had any effect, but they always told me no it would not come off til the 7 year mark of DOFD, but it seemed like a few days after I called, they ended up removing them. YMMV..
