fee paper statements

Right now I'm on paperless statements but want to switch back to paper statements . I know there's no fee from paper to paperless statements but is there a fee from paperless back to paper ?

Re: fee paper statements

well, this 100% is the wrong forum but it's doubtful. some institutions might just due to the cost of them. idk why you'd want them though. you can access paperless statements often times for 3+ years...

again, doubt they'll charge but it's possible depending on lender

Re: fee paper statements

I get paper statements from all my credit cards with the exception of PenFed, they would charge a fee. My bank accounts with Wells Fargo are also paperless, but my CC bill from them is paper.

And yeah I know people say paper statements are pointless, which is true in a practical sense, but I like them. I spend enough time messing with my acconts that I certainly don't need them, but I still like that physical push to pay my bills, and I like skimming through them each month.

Re: fee paper statements

Contact the credit card company in question and ask them. Hopefully, paper statements will be free.

This would cost the card holder time, paper, and ink

I think the OP would like statements on a regular basis.. If he only wanted maybe one or two statements, I'm sure he would print his paperless statements when needed

Re: fee paper statements

yes...? so? you want them printed..? to have it mailed costs the issuer the same but including someone's wage to package it up and then postage. and then our tax money to have the post office send it the residence.  didn't think we needed to nickel and dime this convo lol

Re: fee paper statements

It is common for banks to charge fees for paper statements.

They want to encourage paperless.

There are no regs preventing such fees.
