Am I the only one or equifax never let people order their free copy online?

It tells me that my identity cannot be verified online and i have to mail the request.

I find it very strange because to their convenience I can order all their paid products on equifax.com and no problem to verify me when i use a paid report, but when I try to get the free one it never works

Any other people with that issue? and anyway to fix that?

No one is ever the only on any topic.  There are certainly others that have problems with the security questions when going through the Annual Credit Report site.  The security questions are posed by the CRA's and you have to address the issue with the CRA.  If you are not getting anywhere with the frontline CSR's then escalate your issue.

The process for providing free annual reports vua annualcreditreport.com was negotiated by the big-3 with the FTC as a government accepted means to comply with the free annual report requirements of the FCRA.

With that in mind, there is potential for review of their restritctions should they be arbitrary or unreasonable.

I would call them and ask why they are placing access restrictions on you.  if you then feel their reasons are arbitrary or discriminatory, contact the FTC and file a complaint.
