free transunion report

Got it from another board. You get a free report without using a credit card. From what i can tell so far its accurate and better than some of the one's u actually have to pay. I hope this is not breaking the forum rules and sorry if this is old news for some.

A+ Payment History - 35% of your score You've done an excellent job paying your bills on time over the years. This has helped your credit score significantly. Learn about your grade Take action

A Debt Usage - 30% of your score Great job keeping your debt under control! Low balances and high limits are giving your credit score a boost. Learn about your grade Take action

B Credit Age - 15% of your score It doesn't look like you've had credit very long. Leaving accounts open for more than 7 years can help boost your score.

C- Account Mix - 10% of your score Your credit score could improve if you had a better balance of credit and loan accounts on your credit report.

F Inquiries - 10% of your score You have too many applications for new accounts recorded on your report. This is damaging your credit score. Learn about your grade

Re: free transunion report

myFICO should have no problem with this as credit.com has registered links to myFICO.com

Re: free transunion report

Do you think at is only pulling from TU or is it pulling all 3 through TU?  Interesting that is says one of the tips is to not apply for store financing, becaus it may lower your score?

How often can you yank your report and scores from this site for free?

ANYONE KNOW IF THEY ARE GIVING FICO or FAKO?

657-687

NOT COMPLAINING AT ALL!
It tells me my credit needs to age - well, I already knew that (a D); and yes, my util is up this month (C+) but 2 accounts aren't on my report with less than 10% util and another 1150 of available credit; Payment History gets an A+ (I really DO pay my bills!); account mix C- (no mortgage); and INQ a B (one on TU in July 2007)

I'd get an F in INQ if it used EQ (that is why I opted-out & joined SleighCenter) and REFUSE to get any more accounts until at leat Oct 15, 2008!  Everything I have now pulls EQ so I am sunk even for CLIs unless they 'give it'.

Re: free transunion report

They gave me a scoring range of 779-809 which would be in line with my TU FAKO. My TU FICO is 769.

A+ for payment history
A+ usage/util
A   credit history
B   credit mix
B  new credit
