I have a charged off cc that I have been trying to GW with no luck. The DOFD 11/2004.....charged off. Paid in full 9/2005. I am wondering how badly this is hurting me (even though just seeing it makes me cringe) Is this worth continuing to GW??
It's hard to say how much this CO is hurting your scores without more info. Is this your only baddie? If not, what are the others? How old? What are your current FICO scores? How about your CC usgae, credit limits and balances?

charged off cc still showing in my ut 1536.00 will come off in May Yeah!!

closed cc limit 900.00........ balance 47.00....... was 120 days late inm 2005, ....not late since 8/2005
open cc limit 400.00....... balance $24.00 ....never late opened in 9/2004
charged off cc opened 2004......DOFD 2/2005...... paid in full 2005
cc closed by me in 2000......limit 350.00 pays as agreed.....balance 0
dept store.....paid as agreed......closed 2000....balance 0

I also have 6 collection accts for medical stuff
my scores are EQ 552 EX 595 TU 490( this one has some info that is wrong and is under dispute)
All of my cc balances are under 10% except for the one unpaid chargeoff that will come off in May
Boy, when you see it like that it sure looks ugly
