incorrect help

My father sold his home to my brother over 10 years ago, when the loan was done they kept my fathers SS # on the loan and all the bad payment history is on his credit report, we have tried over a year to get this corrected and get the loan in my brothers ss# with no success.  They have pulled all the original documents, and VERIFIED that

Countrywide home loans verified that it does need to be corrected after seeing the original documents, but nothing gets done....sent letters, numerous phone calls OVER A YEAR, does anyone have any ideas as to whom to call or what to say when we call them, to get this off my fathers credit report?

Oh it has been disputed and verified with the CRA because the SS# matches so go figure!!!

I work at a mortgage company and I would suggest contacting your loan officer and explain the situation to them... your mortgage company would be the one who can correct the paperwork and then forward that to the CRA.
