kinda wierd feeling......

After over couple year of paying those outrages fee's from First Priemer, Orchard, Blaze, and so on.... and now I got only got Cap1, BofA secured, Orchard MC(still crappy), Hooters, and Plain Comm.. with all but 1 with 0 balance.
So now  in the next couple days I usually have to pay those bills on CC...... but since they most all 0.
I have to pay nothing and also not getting charged additional fees.
It feels good being able to be online and not having to be going to number of sites and paying bills here and there... Smiley Wink
Now I just got to keep this up and in no time my FICO score will jump like crazy ;p
Plains only bill and it at 20% but be lower soon.

so now it gives me plenty of time to spam GW letters to Dept of VA which only recent baddie (2004) and CO but with lates up to 2007 (120 days) which im trying to get off.

It's so cool to not be dragging that d@mn boulder of debt around, isn't it? Congrats on becoming the master of your credit, instead of the other way around! Smiley Wink

Re: kinda wierd feeling......

congrats.  how long did you wait to get rid of first premier etc.?  currently i have 2 first premiers (w/afs and mo. fees) and 2 orchards (no mo. fees but high afs) and i'd like to get rid of them.  however, i've only had them for just over 1 yr and they're my main + tradelines @ this point.  @ least they're all unsecured.  i just paid year 2 of AFs on them, so will keep them through @ least 2009.  recently i applied for BA and got the 99/500...secured, but supposedly it's *the* secured card to have and it will get my foot in the 'prime' door.  just got a capital one (not the best card in most peoples' view, but better than first premier).  i'm hoping to kick FP to the door as those mo. fees (and high AFs) are brutal, but i'm not sure when i should kick them to the curb?  @ this pt, target red's rejected me 2x, i have no auto loans (haven't applied), LOCs (haven't applied), or store cards (target's rejected me and i don't really shop anywhere else, but may try walmart?).  my EQ is in the high 500s.  @ least i've paid off all the ccs i currently have, so i'm hoping my fico sees a boost next time they report as my util (which was a bit high the past 2-3 mos.) is now < 10%

You might want to try calling the backdoor number to see if Orchard will remove the AF before they come due again.

Re: kinda wierd feeling......

Even better is sticking that $ in savings instead of paying CC with it.

My DW saw the bank statement the other day- so now she knows where that $1100 bucks a month has been going- Smiley Wink
