let dormant/inactive accounts report or no?

hi - I thought this was answered here at one point or maybe I even asked it - for something sock-drawered is just a charge/payment good enough to register or does one need to let it cut?  thx

If you're talking about as far as banks are concerned they can see the charge/payment on the card so that should be enough. I did this with my two QS cards with Capital One last year in keeping them active after they sent a warning about closures due to non-activity. One card I put gas in it the other takeout and paid them off as soon as they posted. They never closed them when they said they would after that

hi there + thx for the response - if it satisfies the banks then that is all I care about, on occasion I have seen a "dormant account now active" on one of my reports but I don't really care.  many thanks again have a nice weekend
