missing something

Hello,  I see people post all the time that their reports will state the approx date when the TL/collection/etc should fall off. Where do I find that?? I use both Myfico reports and Truecredit but Ive never seen anything listed like that.  Just wondering if I was missing it somewhere.  Or are people just figuring it out manually??

Re: missing something

I went through transunion directly and the report there had the approx date things were to fall off.  There is a way to figure it out manually, but you have to know the date that you first defaulted to lead to the derogitory marking, then go 7-7.5 years.

I'm sure there's an old post in the forum that covers it.

Those reports do not include that information. You have to pull directly from the CRA, either paying or via www.annualcreditreport.com

You can call the CRA and ask for DOFD, fall-off date, FCRA compliance date. Whichever one of those the CSR you get understands.
