multiple disputes on one letter vs. individual disputes

I recently pulled my CR and i see a couple of errors but the one most damaging is a credit card that my ex BF took out. He added me as an authorized user - but I never signed an app or activated a card. I work at a bank and it is my understanding that this should be his debt and not mine as the account was not joint card holders (I was simply an addt'l card holder).

My ? is...
should I dispute this error individually or should I send one letter that points out addt'l errors. And how much detail do I need to include in that letter?

Simply write a letter if you didn't authorize being added as an auth user.  Those are not to hard toget removed if you are listed as an AU and not a joint applicant.  He didn't happen to ask for your SSN to add you did he?  If so, without your knowledge, he may have listed you as a co borrower instead of an AU.  That can be disputed on the grounds of fraud.

I'd definitely dispute this one. Good luck, and I hope you can get the jerk's card off your report.

Personally, I'd dispute only that one item, and on all three reports at the same time.

addt'l question for skiffy

I had asked about disputeing a card me ex-BF opened with me as an AU. I know my ex knew my socail but I do not think i was a joint borrower. it was a Chevron gas card. I will only dispute that one item in the letter but do I explain the ex-bf situation or simply state that I never applied for this card? You know what I mean?
