need help with with my credit.

I currently have a short credit history and a lot of open accounts with un reasonable fees.

4-first premier,1-orchard,1-walmart,1-peebles,1-fingerhut and 1- continental finance. My oldest account is only 21 months and it is the continental finance which charges rediculous fees even with a zero balance $ 316.00 a year to be exact to keep open. The first premiers$ 132.00 a year to keep open.Anyone have any clue to rebuild my credit , my fico today was 601 .Should I just close all the ones with these fees.I am tired of paying these fees to keep my accounts open.Right now i have high balances with them , but plan to pay all accounts in full in feburary and wait to they report.Any advice will be helpful.

Re: need help with with my credit.

I would assume that your Walmart card doesnt charge an AF so I would at least keep that one.  PIF any card before closing and PIF the Walmart card first since you want to protect it from CLD other AA.

Re: need help with with my credit.

if your first premier cards are pretty new, i would probably get rid of them (just my opinion).  i don't know why you would want 4 of them!  that way you are saving more money (& not making those fee collectors rich).
