No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
And I would print out any credit reports you might have, make photocopies of anything you get in writing, write the dates/ times, names, employee ID#'s, and phone numbers of anyone you talk to anywhere, and keep all of it in a file. I hope they'll clean up this mess immediately, and there won't be any land mines on down the road, but if there are ever any problems, you'll be glad that you've got all this. It's pretty depressing to read on other posts how unwilling businesses and CRA's can be to clean up their messes. Good luck!

Contact the fraud dept at the cc company and see what address they were going to send the card to. I don't see how this is possible unless you forgot that you applied or identity theft, even a possible mistake with social number by the cc company. Yes. They will delete everything from your credit file quickly if done by mistake. Watch your CR like a hawk to make sure this happens. But take this "very seriously" and don't just close the card, speak to the FRAUD dept at the cc company.
Wow, it almost sounds like there was some naughtiness by a bank employee! Could you use any favors from this bank? ;-)

I did take note of everyone I talked to (application dept, fraud dept, and bank). Hopefully this issue will pass. I'm wondering if I need to move my money or if this is just a bank tactic.
A much more likely scenario than mine! I read too many mysteries, I think. lol
