NO never provide your info.  Two, someone had to sign financial responsibility for the hosp bill. Three, contact the hospital for that date of service and ask for an itemized bill and see if you were ever in the hops.  You said you didn't ride in ambulance but was it dispatched?

Brammy  thanks for the reply....I don't know if one was dipatched. I've had to goto the Hosp before but not during this time period. This is just not my bill. How do I prove this? They said to prove it I have to give them all my personal info.

woodworker, this sounds fishy.... I would not give them the information. Is the ca on all 3 of your cr's? If it is have you tried disputing all 3 cb's(tu, ex, eq) as "not mine"? Again, I would NOT give them ss# or any other info because they will then have leverage in a dispute!

I would try to contact the ambulance company and let them know the situation.  I would also advise them that I never had ambulance service at the time and that the entry i on my credit report.  Do it in writing.  Request that they remove it or provide you with proof of debt for the person transported.  If it was billed there would have to be some info on the OC files to identify you.  For the CA, tell them that YOU want them to send you something with the name and SSN as well as the itemized charges from the ambulance.  Add that if they fail to provide a acceptable DV then you will report them to the FTC.  Again all in writing return receipt.
