I am currently applying for a construction loan, and I just activated a wamu card. CL of 2,500. I previously had 2 CC's limits of 750 and 450. My scores were as of 7-25-07....EFX-661...TU-700..XPN-653. When I set up my wamu card they said my XPN was 690. How will the opening of this account effect my CR? ....Also, who do i contact about doing a pay delete off on a closed CC?..thank you for your time ..skip

It will probably hit you on the plus side since you had limited credit. Don't know what your utilization looked like before opening the card.  But if it was high this card will definitely lower it.
