iced,

Citi has updated the score on their site to the pull from 12/27. The Citi app is still showing the score from 11/22.

So, you should be able to see you updated Citi FICO.

Updated Citi score is unchanged - 759. Checking history confirmed it didn't budge.

It certainly appears that your 50K cards are being included in both the individual and overall utilization calculations.

Re: practical value of a huge credit limit?

It's interesting to me that the Citi score (EQ) and the CCT score (EQ) give different negative reasons. I expect the scores to be a little different given one is Bankcard and one isn't, but the reasons too?

The only difference in terms of profile between the two dates is a monthly payment on one loan reported. No CC balances would have been reported between the 27th and now.

It's not unusual for the negative reason statements to be different. The Bankcard score weights different factors differently. Keep in mind, they are only providing you with a couple of reason statements. More than that are being generated.

What are the negative reasons listed for each score?

I don't put much faith in what reason codes state.  Under FICO 08 scoring, what has been a positive reason code for me on one bureau has been a negative on another bureau at the same exact time which really makes no sense at all.  I know other members on here have reported this happening to them as well.

I don't put any faith in reason codes. I never have. The positive codes are completely worthless. In this case there is a small amount of interest. One of his reason codes, for one Bureau, may have changed when only his 50K cards reported balances. It would be interesting to know if the same reason code changed for the other Bureaus.

CCT (EQ, Jan 10) had second reason code of Short Reolving History. Citi (EQ, Dec 27) had it as Number Of Accounts With Delinquincy.

So, it seems that only the Experian FICO from Discover had a change in the 2nd reason statement. It may have just been an aberration.

Re: practical value of a huge credit limit?

Good news is the small card isn't going anywhere and I don't need to really ever keep a balance on it  (it's used about twice a month if that). I'll watch scores for the next few months to see what happens.
