question

There is a lack of recent (non-mortgage) installment loan information being reported on your credit file.

what does this mean exactly?

Re: question

I have that.  A couple of years ago, when we bought our house, my scores weren't as good as DH- he has in the 750's. ;
It means that you do not have a Home Loan showing on your credit. I have everything else, revolving debt, CC's, mini installment loans, line of credit, school loans, etc.

So, what we are doing now is refi the house w/ both our names now that my credit is better. Please keep fingers crossed for me.

Awaiting appraisal and it is the only thing holding loan up.
