look at EX and TU.....they go by DOFD    only EQ goes by DOLA.

Look for something typed....will remain on CR until    month/year.....if you can't find it call the CRAs and ask.

No- It does by the DOFD
Eq just uses the DOLA field for this purpose.

So the same item, with same DOFD and DOLA, will stay on EQ longer because they use DOLA?  Doesn't sound right.   Can you confirm?

No you misunderstood-

EQ freezes the DOLA date- it turns into when the "Status" was changed-

NOOOOOO     EX and TU    use DOFD  date            EQ uses DOLA

These dates can be different  but only by a few months

now  state....SOL   usually goes by DOLA

SOL is the time in which a creditor can file suit against you. CRTP is all about CR

DOLA  confuses I think almost everyone ONLY when it comes to CR and drop dates. You would think that DOFD must come first  but the way that they figure it ya never know.

OMG  I can't spell at all tonight!!

Re: "date of last activity "varies on all 3 reports...

So, to clarify, we can dispute any entry on any CR that is 7 years past the DOFD, right?  Even though EQ freezes DOLA, we can still use DOFD as the reference point to dispute the item as obsolete?
