repossed car

A few years back my former husband and I took out a loan for our daughter for a car.  It was with a credit union and primarily in my name because I was working for a school district.  My daughter's name was also on the loan.  I thought we were only co-singing but that was not apparently the case. After years of late payments on my daughters part and a repossession which she reclaimed the vehicle and eventually paid off, it effected my credit score greatly.  Is there any way this can be changed?  It will now be on my credit until 2013.

Re: repossed car

When you co-sign, you put your name and credit on the line too.

Re: repossed car

The only thing you can really do is GW the CU and ask them to remove the account from your reports.
