okay so i pulled my cr today and found some things. i called some places up and since know that i owe the money, i called the ca and asked for info about the items. the rep told me that they would delete it from file if it was paid within 2 days since they have been trying to get in touch with me. should i believe them or send them a pfd and hope they return it, and then send in the money.

if it's not in writing then you are at thier mercy. send the pfd!

If you believe them, I have some swamp land in FL that I want to show you. j/k. I would never believe what they have to say. If they are the only ones reporting (no OC around), then PFD, but get it in writing. If they are not willing to put it in writing, then they have something to hide.
