hi all
thanks in advance for any input. I have a question, i sent a accord and satisfaction letter to the manger of springleaf financial to settle an account that was in collection. they asked for me to pay half the balance i said i would of they agreed to remove the account from all reports within 30 days the manger sent the leter back and signed it agreeing to the terms so i made the payment. not the corparate office sent me a letter saying it is not their pratice to remove anything and that the manger is not able to remove any information from the cb and the account will remain in a charge off status. not to metion that the reported it 30days late then changed it to owing the full balance then back to a charge off i started at a 626 tu score and after this with them im at a 565 tu score what if anything can i do about this to make them honor the a&s letter. sorry it was long just wanted to give details
You complied with the terms as agreed to between yourself and a management official.
You thus have a valid contract for which they are attempting to retroactively change the terms.
I would send them an intent to sue for breach of contract if they do not comply with the agreed deletion within 30 days.
