So I opened up a credit card last month as well as 2 store cards to build my credit as I had nothing reporting and they are all showing on experian and equifax but transunion is not updated and showing any of them. How long does transunion take to show the new cards as they are already helping my scores with the other bureaus. I get the transunion credit monitoring and keep hoping that they will appear on there.
Transunion has always been the slowest to report for me. Experian has always been the quickest.
thanks. ya experian has been quick for me. transunion takes their time with my dispute too its driving me nuts i keep hoping to see them appear
I agree with that too TU always seems to have the lowest score and be lagging behind, soon my TU is going to have the highest score (probably by a large margin) because I just disputed successfully 5 public records, lol. Not sure what kind of score increase to expect but going from 5 to 0 should be something... 3 months from now lol.
Were your TU disputes done through Credit Karma or the manual way? I have literally gotten all 5 of those public records disputed and removed in less than 2 weeks, the first one took a while but all of the other 4 were done in about a weeks time, definitely dispute using CK's direct dispute if you can -- I have no idea why but it seems to work significantly better (at least for public records / me).
I did through transunion for the dispute and it has been almost a month, the 16th wll be a month i checked the status online and it said it needs manual processing and i cant check online that it will be mailed when completed. Dont they only have 30 days? if i file a direct dispute through credit karma how do i check the status of it
They take as long as they take. We can't tell you when they'll update for you but many find them to be slow.

A dispute via CK is not direct. CK is not a CRA and is not TU. A dispute with TU itself would be direct.
