Re: try this and post up how accurate it is for you

Hi hauling! Had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the family. Of course I ate to much, lol.

On our way home, we drove by the BB store just to check it out, and people were already lined up at 8:33PM! insane! People were pitching tents even. I counted 13 dome tents. total madness.

As Thanksgiving day transitioned into Black Friday, DH & I decided to pull an all nighter, and just stay up, instead of going to bed.

We got to the BB store at 3:30, hoping to get the super good deal DoorBuster vouchers which you need for the incredible price. But noooooo, already gone. And by the time they let us file into the store(around 5:15), ALL the good deals, in the sales ad, we were wanting were all gone. Smiley Sad Didn't buy one thing. So we went to Circuit City, stood in the freezing cold for an hour.....same thing. Smiley Sad nada, zilch, zip was bought either place.

To make a short story long, the idea(staying up all night...getting there early), only resulted in extreme fatique, and many hours wasted being miserable. Not doing THAT again.

But the best part of all, was DH & I didn't kill each other in the process. Smiley Happy So all was good.

How was your turkey day?

Ouch--Can't help but think that the first few people were buying a dozen each! Sorry to hear that, but I'm happy your marriage survived.

We had a great one--all three kids were here, and the daughters did a lot of the cooking. (Our son makes a mean chicken fettucine alfredo, but that didn't match the menu.) Didn't set foot out of the house. zzzzz

The estimator gave me 710-760.  I'm subscribed to MyFico's CreditWatch or ScoreWatch (my mind is blank and I can't remember the name of the product right this moment........) which is a GREAT servce by the way, and my actual score (from Experian) is 754 when I checked today.   So pretty darn accurate, the bottom number of the range is low.

P.S.  Listen to this - I was looking into satellite TV vs. cable to get the Big Ten and NFL networks which are not offered by our cable service......went online and was just poking around for info; I did give Direct TV permission to check my credit since I was thinking we'll go with them..... but I didn't even go all the way thru with ordering, didn't even give them my credit card and they did a hard inquiry!

Now when we actually have it installed in several weeks, I hope they do not do ANOTHER hard inquiry!  I Hate when that happens (did give permission, though, nothing I can do about it).   But you think they would wait until you actually ORDERED something!!!

Hope all had a Happy Turkey Day!

Hi, Sue--welcome aboard! DirectTV has a nasty reputation for doing that. This is actually punishable with a $1000 fine --you ought to negotiate a year's service free or something! Smiley Wink

Hauling......... you are a genius. I don't know when this started but some time this past summer EQ and EX zoomed out past TU, although they were always higher.

Thanks for the insight,

Smiley Very Happy !

Not a genius, just the owner of a HELOC that I haven't yet put serious money on! It's not exactly the same problem, but similar, so I have been vacuuming up every bit of info I can find about this, mostly from Timothy and fused, I think.

Those of us with AmEx charge cards and lines of credit, including HELOC, are waiting for TU to move into this millennium. Smiley Tongue

Blasted TU is killing me on my heloc reporting it as "revolving"

question- is there ANY WAY I can get this changed to heloc?
